Malaysia's Christmas Celebration at Portuguese Settlement..

Portuguese, the race that brought Christianity Malaysia as they settled at Malacca. Because of that reason, their turf was selected for the National event.

The Prime minister was suppose to come, but showed absence due to some reasons. However, Dato' Seri Utama Dr. Rais Yatim and Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob were there to make the event much more happening.

The occasion began about 8.30 pm. About tens and thousands of people all over the world came, which includes 50 Miss Tourism from most countries.

It was full of performances and displays. There were a few booths promoting culture and tradition, with some cookies and teh tarik!

The organisers did a good job in the event. There were 2 records made, 1 is the largest live and spontaneous Joget and having the largest number of Miss Tourism attendees among all events in Malaysia. It was recorded and signed into the Malaysia book of records.
